I am an experienced, agile and adaptable professional with a solution driven mindset. I function well individually as well as in a team environment. I have acquired solid hands-on experience in Finance and Administration from the private sector as well as at local government.
Over the years, I have been involved in various Capital and Non-Capital projects. Being in a project set-up has allowed me to develop good project management and effective planning skills. I have completed formal qualifications in Accounting and Project Management. Currently I am studying towards a postgraduate qualification in Information Technology. Having all this diverse skillset has allowed me to bring a different voice, propose new approaches, and has benefitted the teams that I have worked with. I consider myself multidimensional because of my ability to possess the combination of these skills and that gives me the edge above other professionals. Over the years, I have learned to work cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with other business units and departments.
My solid work experience coupled with my qualifications has enabled me to develop leadership skills, strategic thinking skills and be professional at all times. I have experience training and supervising staff members and new recruits, all that has allowed me to gain good leadership and coaching skills. My mid-term goal is to continue learning and acquiring new skills in order to put myself in a better position to lead and be in a senior position within a forward thinking organization.
